Some Moments only happen once.
A first birthday laugh caught mid-air. The way a grandmother's eyes fill when she sees the whole family gathered in one room. A child reaching for a parent's hand without thinking twice. 
These are the moments I live to find.
When a family trusts me to step into their story -- into the noise and the love and the beautiful, fleeting chaos of it all -- I don't take that lightly. It is, without question, one of the greatest honors of my work. 
I photograph family events knowing that what I create today will hang on walls not yet built, will be shown to children not yet born, wil make someone decades from now pause and say __ that's where I come from. That's who love me

That's the weight I carry. And I am grateful for every single frame of it.
