Comedy In Harlem Celebrates One Year at Its New Home with a Harlem-Style Bash

On Saturday, May 31, 2025, Comedy In Harlem proudly celebrated the one-year anniversary of its new location at 750A St. Nicholas Avenue—marking a major milestone not only for the club but for Harlem’s cultural scene as a whole. The celebration kicked off with an energetic Harlem-style day party from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, hosted by the charismatic Nicky Sunshine and Jamie Roberts. With DJ Berry B setting the vibe on the turntables, the atmosphere was electric—filled with laughter, music, and the unmistakable warmth of community. Guests enjoyed free admission, drink specials, and a vibrant setting that felt like a block party meets comedy lounge.

As the only Black-owned comedy club in Harlem, Comedy In Harlem has quickly become a cultural beacon, giving a home to a wide array of comedic talent and creating space for diverse voices to shine. The anniversary event didn’t just celebrate a successful year in business—it celebrated a year of building community through comedy. But the festivities didn’t stop there.
